A little about me. I've always had a deep interest in people; in particular what makes us successful in life and business. Now in my late thirties, I work as a leadership trainer and personal coach where, through the academic and practical experience that I have gained, I am able to guide others. I trained as an Electrical Engineer in the late 80's and pursued a passion for software development. Software provided the foundation for my corporate career and at age 27 I founded a Software Consultancy that I grew to a £10 million concern with over 130 employees. If I had one eye on financials, the other was certainly on the welfare of my staff. I knew without question that successful businesses are the result of committed and focused individuals. To improve my leadership skills and understanding of people I undertook formal training in NLP (Neuro Linguistic Programming). For some time now I have been certified in NLP at Practitioner and Master Practitioner levels and often assist with the training of NLP Practitioners. I trained under the worlds greatest NLP trainers including Ian McDermott, Robert Dilts, Tad James and Suzi Smith. I have been regularly practicing coaching in and outside of business for five years. My personal mission statement is "Discover, Learn, Share" . Meaning that I enjoy being out of my comfort zone in unfamiliar places, I enjoy being with others to make sense of the unfamiliar and I enjoy sharing with others what I know. My favourite quotation, from Denis Waitley, is: I have three main threads to my work; as a personal coach, as a leadership trainer and as a profit through collaboration pioneer.
